Cllr Zadrozny's Care Home Crusade

Heartless Labour run Nottinghmshire County Council has just released plans to close at least 8 elderly persons care homes across the County.

The cuts they are proposing will hit the most vulnerable people in our society most, and at a time in their lives when they most deserve care and compassion.

At least 3 of the homes are right here in Ashfield! Kirklands in Kirkby, Ashcroft in Sutton and Beavaule Court in Eastwood all face Labour's axe.

Labour say that they only need to have one care home in each District but with over 114,000 people living here in Ashfield alone, how can that be enough?

They say that people want to be cared for in their own homes, but in many cases this is unpractical and with the massive rise Labour put on Home Care charges earlier this year, the cynical amongst you might think forcing people to have to pay these extortionate rates is the very worst kind of money making scam.

It is not fair, not right and not in the best interests of anyone to steal away care facilities from people who need them most.
